Kisses That Taste Like Lies

Wachi is a young, wealthy CEO who seemingly has it all—striking good looks, immense financial success, and undeniable physical charm. Yet beneath this polished exterior lies a deeply cynical personality. He views every person he encounters as nothing more than a tool to advance his own interests, making genuine emotional connection with him feel entirely impossible. For Wachi, relationships are strictly transactional, devoid of any real warmth or vulnerability. This carefully maintained detachment begins to fracture when he crosses paths with Makio. Drawn to the bar where Makio works, Wachi starts visiting regularly, initially treating these outings as just another routine. However, their daily interactions slowly awaken something unexpected within him. Instead of calculating an advantage, he finds himself genuinely enjoying Makio's company and experiencing unfamiliar emotions for the very first time. As these feelings deepen, Wachi is forced to confront a startling reality he never anticipated. The man who once reduced everyone to a means to an end must now grapple with the terrifying possibility that he is falling in love. What began as casual visits to a local bar may ultimately become the catalyst for his first authentic, heartfelt connection.
