Ichidou Izumi has always lived and breathed fighting games, dedicating his time to mastering virtual combat rather than engaging in the physical world. His life takes an unexpected turn when a twist of fate leads him to join his high school's fencing club. For someone whose entire understanding of battle comes from holding a controller, stepping onto the piste with a real weapon presents a daunting shift in reality. At first glance, the precise, athletic discipline of competitive fencing and the digital reflexes required for fighting games appear to have absolutely nothing in common. However, Izumi soon discovers that the underlying principles of spacing, timing, and reading an opponent's moves transcend the screen. By applying the strategic mindset he honed through years of gaming, he begins to approach the traditional sport from an entirely unconventional angle. This unlikely intersection of virtual combat and real-world athletics sets the stage for a fresh narrative. As Izumi navigates the challenges of his new environment, his unique perspective breathes new life into the club's practices and matches. Blending the intensity of esports with the elegance of swordsmanship, the story unfolds as an innovative sports manga that redefines what it means to be a true competitor.
