Eleven-year-old Inori harbors a singular, burning ambition: to become a competitive figure skater. However, the path to the ice is fraught with seemingly insurmountable challenges. Within the demanding world of figure skating, she is already considered too old to begin training. Her struggles extend beyond the rink, as she consistently faces difficulties at school, leaving her feeling out of place in everyday life. Most daunting of all is the fierce opposition from her own mother. Haunted by the painful failure of Inori’s older sister’s skating career, she refuses to let another daughter endure the same heartbreak. Despite these overwhelming obstacles, the ice rink remains the one sanctuary where Inori feels truly alive and authentic. It is during one of her solitary sessions on the ice that a fateful encounter changes everything. She crosses paths with Tsukasa, a deeply frustrated coach who stands on the precipice of abandoning competitive skating altogether. Recognizing a shared desperation and passion, the two forge an unlikely partnership. Bound by relentless hard work, an extraordinary joy for the sport, and an unshakeable conviction in their potential, Inori and Tsukasa unite to form a formidable duo determined to defy expectations and prove every doubter wrong.
