Shouji has spent years quietly struggling with his sexuality, finally allowing himself to hope during a long-distance romance with his crush. However, after weeks of unexplained silence, that fragile connection shatters when the other man confesses he is not actually gay. Devastated by the sudden rejection, Shouji attempts to bury his heartbreak by pouring all his energy into his job, hoping the distraction will numb the pain of losing someone he deeply cared about. His quiet routine is disrupted when a young homeless man named Hama wanders into the shop where Shouji works.
