Like Two Peas in a Pod

Everything started with a simple mix-up. When Tanaka and Nakata accidentally receive each other’s exam papers, they are forced into an uncomfortable realization: the two of them are practically indistinguishable. Beyond sharing nearly identical names, their test scores, physical builds, athletic abilities, fashion preferences, and personal hobbies align with uncanny precision. What begins as a frustrating discovery quickly becomes an exhaustive list of shared traits that neither student can ignore. As irritating as it is to find someone who mirrors them so perfectly, this unexpected parallel brings one undeniable comfort. No matter what happens, Tanaka and Nakata know they will always have someone who truly understands them. The annoyance gradually gives way to a quiet companionship built on absolute familiarity, transforming a bothersome coincidence into a reliable bond. Yet, the more time they spend together, the more apparent it becomes that their connection might extend far beyond surface-level similarities. As they navigate their mirrored lives side by side, both begin to wonder if their resemblance runs deeper than grades, hobbies, or appearances—hinting at a profound relationship waiting to be uncovered.
