Koi Kamo Shirenai

Devastated by a painful heartbreak, gay proofreader Yusaku Odoriba makes an impulsive escape to the remote shores of Taketomi Island. Seeking comfort and distraction, he crosses paths with a striking older man. Believing that the shameless indulgences of travel will soon be forgotten, Yusaku surrenders to a passionate encounter, fully expecting never to see his temporary lover again. However, fate has other plans when the two unexpectedly reunite back in Tokyo. To Yusaku’s shock, the mature stranger he assumed was well into adulthood is actually Kyouichi Yayoi, a college student studying architecture. Overwhelmed by embarrassment and the sheer awkwardness of the situation, Yusaku attempts to distance himself and avoid any further contact. Yet, rather than letting their brief island romance fade into memory, Yayoi pursues him with relentless and aggressive determination, leaving Yusaku to navigate a complicated new dynamic he never saw coming.
