Sweet Honey After School

"Why am I in a place like this... kissing him?" Mitsuo Hanaori is a socially awkward loner who harbors a deep resentment toward Hachiya, the effortlessly popular boy who always commands the center of attention in their classroom. With his soft hair, flawless complexion, and melodic voice, everything simply comes too easily to Hachiya, and Mitsuo finds it utterly infuriating. Yet, despite his frustration, Mitsuo cannot help but watch when Hachiya executes perfect shots during basketball practice. His intense focus leads to a careless misstep, twisting his ankle in the process. When Hachiya kindly escorts him to the nurse's office, the situation takes an unexpected turn. Without warning, Hachiya leans in close, as if preparing to kiss him. Mitsuo panics, his heart hammering wildly, only for his embarrassment to deepen when he realizes his body is physically reacting to the proximity. To make matters far more complicated, Hachiya begins approaching him with romantic intent on a daily basis following that incident, leaving the bewildered loner desperate to understand what is truly happening.
