Kusunoki Mebuki wa Yuusha de Aru

After suffering a bitter defeat to Karin Miyoshi in the fiercely contested selection trials to become a legendary hero, Kusunoki Mebuki finds herself consumed by lingering resentment and jealousy. Her aspirations for glory are abruptly redirected when she is summoned to the historic Gold Tower in Kagawa. There, she is assigned an entirely different and vital role: a sentinel, tasked not with frontline glory, but with the quiet, steadfast duty of keeping watch. Alongside three fellow sentinels and a devoted priestess, Mebuki steps into this rigorous new reality. Together, their primary mission is to stand guard, fight, and protect their own army—the current generation of heroes—while shielding all of humanity from the relentless threat of monstrous creatures lurking beyond the wall.
