Tokyo Touhikou

Feeling alienated both at home and at school, high school student Asuka finds herself drawn into the neon-lit depths of Shinjuku’s Kabukicho district. Her destination is inspired by an autobiographical online novel titled "Tokyo Escape," written by a mysterious girl residing in the notorious "Toyoko" area. Wandering through the bustling streets, Asuka has a chance encounter with the novel’s author, Hiyori, and the two immediately form a deep connection. Intrigued by her new acquaintance, Asuka is introduced to a man named Merio and brought to their secluded base of operations. However, the sanctuary quickly shatters when Asuka is confronted with a grim and shocking reality hidden beneath the surface. Refusing to let circumstances consume them, Asuka takes Hiyori’s hand, utters the words, "Let's run away together," and initiates a desperate flight into the night. So begins an unpredictable, high-stakes journey of survival and escape through the shadows of the metropolis.
