BORUTO: NARUTO THE MOVIE

Boruto is the son of Naruto, the revered Seventh Hokage, yet he harbors a deep-seated resentment toward his father. While the rest of the village looks upon Naruto with unwavering admiration, celebrating him as a legendary hero who brought peace to their world, Boruto feels entirely overshadowed by that towering legacy. Beneath his outward rejection lies a fierce, unspoken desire: he desperately wants to surpass the man everyone worships and carve out his own identity separate from the Hokage’s name. Driven by this intense ambition, Boruto crosses paths with Sasuke, a formidable shinobi and one of his father’s closest companions. Recognizing an opportunity to forge his own path, the young ninja makes a bold request, asking Sasuke to take him on as his personal apprentice. This unexpected encounter sets the stage for a journey defined by rivalry, growth, and the heavy burden of inherited greatness. Penned by Masashi Kishimoto, this light novel raises the curtain on a thrilling new era, introducing the next generation of shinobi as they step out of their parents' shadows to write their own destinies.
