Shiba Inuko-san

Shiba Inuko-san is a fourteen-year-old girl navigating the ordinary routines of middle school life, yet she carries one extraordinary and unmistakable trait: she looks exactly like a Shiba Inu dog. Despite her distinctly canine appearance, she attends classes and goes about her days just like any other student in her school. What makes her situation truly peculiar is not merely her unusual look, but how the world around her reacts to it. Among all her peers, only one classmate—a girl named Ishibashi Chako—finds anything out of the ordinary about her. While Chako constantly questions and wonders about Inuko’s bizarre appearance, the rest of the student body and faculty seem completely oblivious to the anomaly. To everyone else, Inuko is simply another normal teenager, leaving Chako entirely alone in her bewilderment as she tries to make sense of a reality no one else seems to question.
