in THE ROOM

Kippei Yuuki reigns supreme as the top-ranked player in the massively multiplayer online role-playing game "The Room," carrying an arrogance that perfectly matches his digital dominance. To him, the mundane reality of everyday life holds no appeal; he much prefers existing as the central hero within a virtual world where his abilities dictate everything. However, his unwavering confidence is about to face a brutal test far beyond the safety of a screen. Without warning, Kippei and a group of strangers suddenly awaken trapped inside a grim prison cell. The nightmare escalates quickly as menacing monsters lurk just outside their confinement, and the terrifying architecture surrounding them bears an uncanny resemblance to the very game he has mastered. Thrust into a deadly scenario that mirrors his virtual conquests, Kippei must now rely on his real instincts rather than programmed stats. With danger closing in from every direction, the group faces desperate questions: how were they transported into this living nightmare, and who among them possesses what it takes to survive?
