We Can Fly!

Driven by a deep sense of emptiness and the unbearable monotony of his daily life, high school student Sei makes the desperate decision to leap from a rooftop, hoping to finally escape his tedious existence. However, instead of meeting his end on the ground below, he awakens in an entirely unfamiliar realm. This strange new world is defined by a single extraordinary trait: every inhabitant possesses wings. Sei’s sudden appearance as a completely wingless outsider immediately sends shockwaves through the local populace. The citizens react with widespread astonishment and alarm at the sight of someone lacking the appendages they consider fundamental to life. Amid the chaos and public uproar surrounding his unexpected arrival, Sei finds himself vulnerable and utterly alone in a society that views him as an anomaly. His precarious situation shifts when he is rescued by Sakura, a girl distinguished by her striking black wings. Rather than leaving him to face the bewildered crowds, she takes him under her protection and brings him into her own community. There, Sei discovers a marginalized group of residents who live together because their wings are considered inferior by the rest of society. Surrounded by these outcasts, Sei begins an unforeseen journey in a world where flight defines one's worth.
