Bounen no Xamdou: Junreisha no Compass

The story follows the life of an ordinary high school student whose world is abruptly upended when he is transformed into a towering, monstrous entity known as a Xam'd. Thrust into an unfamiliar and terrifying existence, he must grapple with his new form while struggling against the violent, uncontrollable instincts that threaten to consume him entirely. The sudden metamorphosis strips away his normal life, leaving him isolated and at the mercy of a primal power he barely understands. Amidst this chaos, a mysterious red-haired woman named Nakiami steps in to guide him through his harrowing transformation. She becomes a crucial anchor in his turbulent journey, employing her knowledge and presence to help suppress the Xam'd's destructive rampaging urges. Together, they navigate the dangerous path ahead, as she works tirelessly to keep his volatile nature in check before it can cause irreversible harm. Her intervention offers him a fragile hope of mastering his condition rather than being destroyed by it. Bounen no Xamdou: Junreisha no Compass is a manga originally published in the Winter issue of Ace Assault—a quarterly spinoff magazine of Monthly Shonen Ace—on December 9.
