Dan Kiriba leaves his life in Paris behind to accept a highly specialized role within the Tokyo Metropolitan Police. Brought on board as a special investigator through the leverage of a past connection, he is thrust into a high-stakes operation that demands both precision and absolute resolve. His primary directive is to track down and eliminate Catherine, a notorious terrorist who has successfully infiltrated the city. However, this mission carries a devastating personal burden. Catherine is not merely a dangerous target operating in the shadows of Tokyo; she is the woman Dan once loved. Now, he must navigate the sprawling metropolis with a singular, unforgiving objective, forced to confront the ghost of his own romantic history. The assignment pits his professional duty directly against his deepest emotional ties, transforming a standard counter-terrorism operation into an agonizing personal trial. As Dan closes in on his target, the boundaries between justice and heartbreak blur entirely. He must ultimately decide whether he possesses the strength to pull the trigger on the one person who still holds his heart, turning his hunt through Tokyo into a tragic collision of duty, betrayal, and lingering affection.
