Core Scramble

Humanity faces an existential crisis as monstrous creatures pour through dimensional portals, threatening to consume the world. To combat this otherworldly invasion, a specialized military unit known as Clarus Orbis is deployed to hold the line. For ordinary foot soldiers like Chaeun, every day on the front lines is a desperate struggle for survival—a grim reality made worse by serving under Gayoon, his strikingly handsome but dangerously reckless and arrogant commander. When Gayoon abandons him in the heat of battle, Chaeun is left alone to fend off an overwhelming swarm of insectoid monsters. On the brink of death, he is unexpectedly saved by Moonhoo, the enigmatic leader of a rogue faction called Core Hunter. Though Moonhoo initially treats their encounter with playful flirtation, Chaeun soon uncovers a far more sinister truth: Moonhoo and his renegade group harbor dark ambitions regarding the dimensional rifts. As the hidden agenda of the Core Hunters comes to light, the stakes escalate beyond mere survival against the monster hordes. With the fate of the portals hanging in the balance, Chaeun finds himself thrust into a pivotal role. Alongside his volatile former commander Gayoon, he becomes the last line of defense standing between humanity and Moonhoo’s insidious plans.
