Silencer

Shizuka is a dedicated police officer with an unusual devotion to her silenced firearm. Following the completion of an internship in the United States, she returns to Japan only to find herself abruptly stripped of her official police status. Instead of active duty, she is reassigned to the disreputable Security Annex Office, a marginalized department where she is forced to partner with a corrupt and morally compromised colleague. What begins as a routine, insignificant investigation takes a dark turn when Shizuka witnesses a brutal murder firsthand. Refusing to let the crime go unanswered, she resolves to take charge of the case herself, determined to pursue justice despite her demotion and difficult working conditions. However, as she delves deeper into the mystery, she remains entirely unaware that her relentless pursuit of the truth will soon draw her into the path of a terrifying and unforeseen threat.
