The Boy Can’t Help It

College student Junya unexpectedly walks in on his roommate and childhood friend, Akiyoshi, during an intimate encounter with another man. Instead of averting his gaze, Junya finds himself completely captivated by the sight. He is mesmerized by Akiyoshi’s deeply expressive reactions and the intense, uninhibited energy he displays in bed. Unable to resist the sudden surge of attraction, Junya steps into the situation, much to Akiyoshi’s vocal protests. Despite his initial reluctance, Akiyoshi is gradually drawn in as Junya confidently initiates physical contact, leading to a heated exchange that quickly escalates into passionate exploration. However, even after their boundaries are pushed and the tension between them reaches its peak, Akiyoshi stubbornly refuses to take the final step and fully consummate their connection. His lingering resistance leaves Junya bewildered, forcing him to confront the complicated emotional barriers standing between them. As they navigate this confusing new dynamic, the unresolved question of why Akiyoshi continues to hold back threatens to complicate both their friendship and their shared living space. In addition to the central narrative, this volume features a bonus short story centered on a wildly impulsive romantic and his endlessly optimistic boyfriend, offering a lighter companion piece to the main storyline.
