Niji, Amaete yo.

Niji, Amaete yo. centers on the intertwined lives of three members of a high school judo club: Niji Yamashiro, the female vice-president; Gaku, the club president; and Hiyori, a fellow member and Gaku’s close friend. Their everyday dynamic is abruptly disrupted when Hiyori poses a seemingly casual but loaded question to Gaku, asking if he harbors romantic feelings for Niji. When Gaku immediately denies any such interest, Hiyori seizes the opportunity, declaring his intention to confess his own feelings to her. He challenges the president directly, telling him that if he truly cares for Niji, he needs to step up and act before it is too late. Determined to follow through, Hiyori approaches Niji after practice to make his feelings known. Unable to stay away, Gaku secretly observes their exchange from the shadows, caught in a quiet storm of unspoken emotions. As this tense spring night unfolds, the fragile balance between the three friends begins to fracture. Driven by hesitation, jealousy, or desperation, one of them will make an impulsive mistake—a foolish action that will haunt them forever, leaving behind a burden of lifelong regret they can never forgive themselves for carrying.
