Tomodachi Dakedo Oishisou

On the surface, Mamiya Takatora appears to be nothing more than an ordinary, youthful-looking salaryman navigating the demands of his professional life. Beneath this unassuming exterior, however, lies a man with a commanding, dominant personality and a deep-rooted passion for otaku culture. His daily routine takes an unexpected turn through his regular encounters with Yuki Chihiro, an endlessly talkative pizza delivery worker who brings a vibrant energy into Takatora’s otherwise structured world. Despite their vastly different personalities and seemingly incompatible lifestyles, the two men strike up an unlikely bond and decide to become friends. What begins as a simple connection between acquaintances quickly develops into a complicated dynamic fraught with hidden tension. The core of Takatora’s dilemma stems from a secret he struggles to contain: his feelings toward his new companion extend far beyond platonic camaraderie. Whenever Takatora looks at Chihiro—whom he affectionately calls Hiro—he finds himself overwhelmed by intense physical attraction. Hiro’s radiant smile and flawless physique are enough to stir Takatora’s deepest desires, turning what was meant to be a straightforward friendship into a constant test of his restraint. As they spend more time together, Takatora must navigate the delicate boundary between being a trusted friend and suppressing the powerful urges that threaten to consume him every time Hiro is near.
