Undead Pappy

Mikhail is a vampire unlike any other, defined not by a thirst for blood or a predatory nature, but by his profound and genuine affection for humanity. Driven by this deep compassion, he takes in a young human boy named Johann after finding him alone. Rather than treating the child as prey or a mere servant, Mikhail assumes the role of a devoted father, dedicating himself entirely to raising Johann and providing him with a safe, nurturing home despite the vast differences in their species. As the years pass, a quiet but complex emotional tension begins to take root within their unconventional household. While Mikhail views himself strictly as a guardian and benefactor committed to Johann’s well-being, the young man’s feelings have evolved far beyond simple filial gratitude. Johann no longer sees Mikhail merely as the immortal who saved him; instead, he harbors a deeper, more intense attachment that blurs the boundaries between familial devotion and something far more complicated. This shifting dynamic forces both characters to navigate an unspoken conflict, challenging the very foundation of the bond they share and leaving their future together uncertain.
