Contrast

Kanata is a striking young man who effortlessly commands the attention of everyone around him, even when his thoughts are wandering far away. In stark contrast stands Akira, a model student who rarely speaks and keeps to himself. Though they do not know each other’s names or which classes they attend, neither can erase the memory of the other’s face from his mind. Their paths finally cross by chance on a stairwell near the school rooftop. Following this unexpected encounter, the rooftop transforms into their private sanctuary—a quiet refuge where they meet in secret. As time passes and their interactions deepen, they begin to uncover a surprising truth: despite their vastly different outward personas, they have both developed genuine feelings for one another. What begins as an unspoken fascination slowly blossoms into something more profound. Yet, as their bond strengthens, a lingering question remains. They must navigate whether the powerful pull between two complete opposites is enough to bridge the gap between them, or if their fundamental differences will ultimately prevent them from ever forging a true connection.
