Haru wo Daiteita: ALIVE

Youji Katou is presented with a compelling professional opportunity when he is offered the role of Nobunaga in a new production directed by Mochimune. However, the casting comes with a complicated caveat: his partner, Iwaki, has just finished portraying the exact same historical figure in a highly acclaimed taiga drama. Katou is left to weigh whether stepping into the shadow of Iwaki’s recent success is a wise career move or simply an attempt to ride the momentum of his partner's triumph. Amidst this professional dilemma, unexpected personal encounters begin to unravel. Katou crosses paths with Sawa by chance, but he quickly notices a stark shift in her demeanor. Her personality seems entirely altered, leaving him deeply suspicious of her true intentions. Meanwhile, Iwaki runs into Yuukihito, Sawa’s former lover, only to discover that he has walked away from their relationship and is now working behind the scenes as an assistant director. As both men navigate these shifting dynamics, they are forced to confront the lingering questions surrounding Sawa and Yuukihito’s sudden separation and what consequences it may bring.
