Okitegami Kyouko no Bibouroku

Twenty-five-year-old Kakushidate Yakusuke is plagued by a bizarre and relentless curse: no matter where he goes, he constantly finds himself stumbling into active crime scenes. Worse still, his unfortunate timing inevitably casts him as the primary suspect in every case. Desperate to clear his name and escape this endless cycle of false accusations, he turns to his final hope—a brilliant investigator known as Okitegami Kyouko, widely revered as the "Quickest Detective." However, Kyouko carries a profound burden that defines her extraordinary methods. She suffers from a peculiar form of amnesia; the moment she falls asleep, every memory of the previous day is entirely erased. Because of this condition, she cannot afford to let an investigation drag on. Every mystery she takes on must be unraveled within a single day before sleep wipes the slate clean. Together, this unlikely pair navigates a tense race against time, relying on Kyouko's sharp deductive skills to solve crimes before midnight claims her memories once again.
