Okitegami Kyouko no Bibouroku

The inaugural volume of the Forgetful Detective series introduces Kyoko Okitegami, a brilliant investigator uniquely defined by her fleeting memory. Every single day, her mind resets completely, wiping away all accumulated knowledge and experiences. Despite this profound limitation, she possesses an extraordinary talent for solving complex mysteries with remarkable speed, cracking cases almost as quickly as they arise. Entangled in her investigations is Kakushidate Yakusuke, an exceptionally unfortunate young man who seems cursed to be caught in the middle of every crime scene. Through no fault of his own, Yakusuke invariably finds himself branded as the prime suspect, leaving him desperate to clear his name while pleading for professional intervention. With the clock ticking down and a total memory wipe looming on the horizon, Kyoko must race against time. Can she unravel the truth and solve the mystery before the day ends and all the crucial details vanish from her mind forever?
