Mai Ball!

Ever since childhood, Mai has dedicated her mornings to assisting her longtime friend Kunimitsu with soccer practice. Her unwavering support has played a quiet but vital role in his success, helping him secure the MVP title at the middle school nationals for two consecutive years. However, their routine is disrupted when Reika, one of Kunimitsu’s devoted admirers, accidentally witnesses their early morning training sessions. Stunned by Mai’s surprising ability to match Kunimitsu on the field, Reika grows fiercely determined to prove her own worth to him and issues a direct soccer challenge to Mai. Suddenly thrust into an unexpected rivalry, Mai finds herself caught between her long-standing affection for her childhood crush and this intense new competition. Maintaining her composure proves to be a significant struggle. Outside the familiar comfort of their private morning practices, Mai is plagued by overwhelming nerves and a distracting habit of daydreaming about Kunimitsu in highly inappropriate ways. To overcome Reika’s challenge and step out of the shadows, Mai must learn to conquer her anxiety, rein in her vivid fantasies, and finally showcase her true potential on the pitch.
