Sura's Beloved

Hidden deep within the remote mountains lies a secluded village dedicated to training young healers in the art of medicine. For Cho-ah, this tranquil settlement is the only home he has ever known, and he fully expects to live out his entire life quietly serving those in need alongside his peers. His predictable future is abruptly shattered, however, when a severely injured and enigmatic man suddenly appears at their doorstep. Despite the deep suspicion and unease expressed by his fellow students, Cho-ah takes it upon himself to care for the stranger. Through tireless effort and dedication, he works to nurse the mysterious patient back from the brink of death. As the man slowly recovers, he reveals his name to be Mujin. Yet, even as his physical wounds begin to heal, Mujin remains guarded and withdrawn from everyone around him, extending his trust solely to the young physician who saved his life. This singular bond between healer and patient soon begins to shift the dynamics of the quiet mountain village. With Mujin’s unexpected arrival and his exclusive reliance on Cho-ah, the young student finds his once-settled world turned upside down. The presence of this striking stranger promises to irrevocably alter the course of Cho-ah’s life, drawing him into an unforeseen journey far beyond the boundaries of his peaceful home.
