Overwhelmed by the relentless pressures of her job, office worker Miyako decides that adopting a cat might be the perfect remedy for her mounting stress. However, her plans quickly fall apart, and she finds herself heading home empty-handed after a disappointing trip. Just when it seems her day cannot get any worse, she stumbles upon an unexpected sight: a young child lying unconscious in the freezing snow, dressed in a distinctive parka adorned with cat ears. Driven by concern, Miyako rushes the child back to her apartment to warm him up and clean him off. To her surprise, she discovers that the mysterious figure is actually a strikingly beautiful little boy. Rather than expressing gratitude for being rescued from the cold, the boy immediately takes charge of the situation, boldly threatening to call the police unless she allows him to stay with her. Left with little choice, Miyako agrees to his demands, setting the stage for an unconventional living arrangement. Thus begins a charming and comedic story about the unexpected daily life shared between a hardworking office lady and her demanding, adorable new roommate.
