Spring Weapon No.1

A sinister syndicate of androids known as the Numbers has emerged with a singular, devastating goal: total global domination. Standing between humanity and annihilation is MAPPO—the Monster Attack Professional & Pacific Organization—a highly classified defense force comprised of elite, specially trained operatives dedicated to neutralizing this mechanical menace. Operating in the shadows, these agents are tasked with dismantling the Numbers' forces before their apocalyptic ambitions can be realized. The story takes an unexpected turn when one such MAPPO agent, currently living undercover as an ordinary high school student, finds his carefully maintained double life thrown into chaos. A new transfer student arrives in his classroom, but this classmate is far from typical. The newcomer is unmistakably a Number, possessing a bizarre and eccentric appearance that makes blending in nearly impossible. Now, the young operative faces a profound dilemma: he must navigate the daily trials of adolescence while secretly evaluating whether this comical-looking android is a genuine threat to be eliminated or something entirely unforeseen. Balancing his duty to protect the world with the unpredictable reality of sitting next to his sworn enemy, he is thrust into a conflict where the battlefield is his own classroom.
