Eito is a disillusioned young man who has completely lost faith in the government and abandoned any hope for a promising future. Driven by desperation and a deep sense of apathy toward society, he accepts a high-stakes job on the black market that promises a reward of one million yen. The assignment comes with strict instructions from a mysterious figure known only as "Nobunaga," who directs Eito to break into the home of an elderly man and steal a specific bag. However, the seemingly straightforward theft takes an unexpected turn when Eito finally examines the stolen contents. Rather than simply walking away with his prize, the shocking discovery forces him to reconsider his actions entirely. Instead of completing the job as planned, Eito makes the fateful decision to return to the elderly man's house—not to finish the robbery, but to seek the old man's help. This pivotal choice sets the stage for a tense narrative where a hopeless youth finds himself drawn into a situation far more complex than a simple black-market transaction.
