Attack on Titan: Before the Fall

Adapted from Ryou Suzukaze's light novel series of the same name, this manga explores a fragile era in which humanity has grown complacent behind towering walls, falsely believing themselves safe from the monstrous Titans that roam beyond. That illusion of security is violently shattered when a fanatical cult devoted to worshipping the Titans breaches one of the great gates. The resulting incursion unleashes devastation as a Titan storms through the opening, indiscriminately slaughtering and devouring even the very zealots who invited it inside. In the grim aftermath of the rampage, two young members of the Survey Corps make a horrifying yet miraculous discovery among the carnage: the partially digested remains of a pregnant woman, with her infant still clinging to life within her body. This impossible survivor quickly becomes known as the "child of the Titans," raising urgent questions about his destiny and the nature of the world he has been born into. As humanity struggles to recover from the breach, they are forced to confront their vulnerability and determine how they will ultimately face the ever-present threat of the Titans.
