Izumi Wakakusa is a celebrated actress whose entire life revolves around an unwavering obsession with physical beauty. Her glamorous world is abruptly shattered when a grotesque mark suddenly appears on her flawless face, destroying the perfection she so desperately cherishes. Unable to bear this disfigurement, Izumi vanishes entirely from the public eye, retreating into complete seclusion. During her disappearance, she gives birth to a daughter named Sakura, setting the stage for a deeply unsettling and isolated upbringing far removed from the spotlight. From the moment Sakura is born, Izumi showers her with excessive affection, keeping the child constantly pampered and fiercely shielded from the outside world. To anyone observing their secluded life, it appears as though Izumi is simply a devoted mother compensating for her own lost career by pouring all her love into her only child. However, this suffocating overprotection conceals a much darker reality beneath its seemingly tender surface. Sakura grows up enveloped in luxury but confined within the boundaries of her mother's controlling devotion. The fragile illusion of a perfect childhood begins to crack as Sakura matures, leading her closer to a chilling revelation. When she finally uncovers the true reason behind her existence, she realizes that her mother’s relentless doting was never born out of pure maternal love, but rather a hidden, calculated purpose tied directly to Izumi's ruined vanity.
