Root Double: Before Crime*After Days - √After

The protagonist regains consciousness to find two attractive women in orange uniforms anxiously watching over him, addressing him respectfully as their boss. Although they clearly know him well, he has absolutely no memory of who they are or even who he himself is. Before he can process his amnesia, the dire reality of their situation becomes apparent: the facility they are standing in is engulfed in flames. The women are part of a rescue team, and they must complete their mission before the fire consumes everything around them. Driven by urgency, the protagonist hears a young girl’s voice and rushes toward her to help. However, upon seeing his face, she reacts with sheer terror, screaming in panic. Confused but guided by another mysterious voice urging him to save her, he manages to pull the girl to safety. Their brief relief shatters when the group realizes they have been locked inside the burning complex, which houses a nuclear reactor. Although they possess some medical supplies, the medication is far from sufficient to protect them from the impending danger. With time running out, the amnesiac leader and his team must find a way to escape the sealed facility before it is too late.
