Uroko no Kao

Mako Umezu is the younger sister of Kazuo Umezu, a renowned horror manga artist. When an unusual piece of fan mail arrives at their home addressed to her famous brother, Mako’s curiosity gets the better of her, and she decides to open the envelope herself. Instead of finding a typical letter of admiration, she discovers a deeply unsettling collection of items that immediately shatters any sense of normalcy. Tucked inside the envelope is a photograph of a young girl accompanied by two unusually large snake scales. Alongside these eerie objects is a written message from a girl named Youko Numeta. In her letter, Youko makes a chilling claim: the oversized reptilian scales enclosed in the package do not belong to an ordinary animal, but are in fact the shed scales of her own step-sister, Kurumi. This disturbing revelation transforms a simple act of opening the mail into a terrifying mystery, leaving Mako to grapple with the horrifying implications of what Youko has sent to her brother's doorstep.
