Orc wa Nozomanai

Lina is a diminutive witch whose very existence has been marked for death by the kingdom. Hunted and cornered, she finds herself captured by royal guards with no hope of escape. However, just as her life hangs in the balance, an unexpected savior emerges from the shadows: a monstrous orc who intervenes to rescue her from certain doom. Both Lina and her unlikely protector exist on the fringes of a cruel world. She belongs to a lineage of witches relentlessly persecuted by humanity, while he represents the fearsome monsters universally despised by human society. Bound together by their shared status as outcasts, these two strangers form an unusual alliance, choosing to travel and survive side by side. Despite the hostility of the world around them, their journey blossoms into a strangely heartwarming tale. Far from the typical story of conflict between humans and monsters, this narrative follows the quiet, tender bond that develops between two marginalized souls who found solace in one another after fate brought them together.
