Kakushigoto: My Dad's Secret Ambition

Kakushi Gotou is a devoted single father raising his young daughter, Hime, on his own. To the outside world, he appears to be an ordinary parent navigating the daily challenges of family life. However, beneath this unassuming exterior lies a closely guarded secret: Kakushi is actually a highly successful manga artist responsible for a wildly popular, notoriously risqué comic series. His work dominates sales charts and commands a massive readership, but it is precisely the kind of mature content that no father would ever want his innocent child to discover. Determined to protect Hime from the true nature of his career, Kakushi goes to extraordinary lengths to maintain his double life. He meticulously conceals every aspect of his profession, ensuring that his daughter remains completely unaware of the provocative stories he creates for a living. This commitment to secrecy transforms his everyday routine into an endless series of comedic complications. From dodging unexpected encounters with fans to hiding his manuscripts and art supplies, Kakushi must constantly improvise to keep his two worlds apart. No matter how chaotic or absurd the resulting situations become, he remains steadfast in his mission. For this doting father, preserving his daughter's innocence is worth any amount of trouble, making his hidden ambition the driving force behind a heartwarming and hilarious tale of parental devotion.
