Ano Natsu de Matteru

Determined to make the most of their long summer holiday, a close-knit group of friends embarks on an ambitious project: producing their own film. What begins as a lighthearted endeavor to stave off seasonal boredom quickly evolves into something far more profound. Through the collaborative process of filmmaking, the young cast discovers not only the technical challenges of bringing a story to life but also deeper truths about themselves and one another. As the days grow warmer and the production moves forward, the simple premise of their movie becomes a mirror reflecting their own evolving emotions. The relationships among the friends undergo significant transformations, maturing in ways none of them could have anticipated. Intimate confessions, unspoken feelings, and unexpected shifts in dynamic turn their carefree summer into a deeply revealing experience. Ultimately, the journey of creating their film teaches them that the most complex stories are not the ones written in a script, but the ones unfolding within their own hearts.
