The Asahigaoka Academy, a prestigious all-girls school, has recently shifted to a co-ed style of education for its junior high school division, while its senior high school students remain all girls. Tatsumi Naeda, a shy and somewhat reserved boy, is one of the few boys enrolled in the new term. He finds solace in the quiet of the literature club, where he spends his time with its sole member, Yuno Tsuyuri, and a freshman student.
