Kurenai no Senkan

A routine interception mission off the coast of the Senkaku Islands takes a sudden and catastrophic turn when an unforeseen anomaly disrupts the operation. What begins as a standard naval deployment quickly spirals into chaos as the surrounding waters churn with unnatural force. From the dark, crushing depths of the ocean floor, a massive silhouette begins to rise, breaking the surface in a dramatic display that defies all logic and modern understanding. The vessel emerging from the sea is none other than the legendary Battleship Yamato, a warship long thought lost to history. Its sudden reappearance sends shockwaves through the intercepted forces, who are left stunned by the impossible sight of the historic dreadnought returning from the abyss. Rather than arriving as a derelict ruin, the ship surfaces with clear purpose and intent, immediately establishing its presence in the contested waters. As the colossal warship fully breaches the surface, it broadcasts a single, chilling message to those nearby: "We have returned." This cryptic declaration transforms a failed military operation into a profound mystery, leaving the surviving personnel to grapple with the implications of an impossible resurrection. The unexpected arrival of the Yamato sets the stage for a tense confrontation, forcing everyone involved to question what exactly has awakened beneath the waves and what this enigmatic return truly means for the future.
