Lala's Married Life

Lala, the twin sister of Ramdane, is formally betrothed to Wolsey, the heir to a prosperous merchant family. Despite this arranged union, her heart belongs to another. Determined to secure her sister's happiness and ensure a safe elopement, Ramdane devises a desperate plan: he will disguise himself as the bride and take Lala’s place at the altar. His intention is merely to see the ceremony through and slip away under the cover of darkness on their wedding night, leaving no trace behind. However, Wolsey proves to be far more perceptive than Ramdane anticipated. Unwilling to let his new spouse simply vanish, Wolsey takes decisive measures to prevent any escape. He secretly drugs Ramdane’s drink, rendering him powerless to flee when the time comes. With the exit blocked, Wolsey aggressively asserts his dominance over the situation, forcing Ramdane into an intense and inescapable encounter. What was meant to be a fleeting deception transforms into a deeply consequential experience, culminating in a single, unforgettable night that irrevocably binds them both together.
