Set earlier than the events of its companion game and featuring an entirely different protagonist, Cocktail Ouji follows the struggles of Asahi Ninomiya, a timid third-year college student standing on the precipice of adulthood. As graduation approaches, the pressure to secure employment forces him to confront a deeply ingrained personal flaw: his overwhelming shyness. Recognizing that his reserved nature will severely hinder his professional prospects, Asahi resolves to step outside his comfort zone and transform himself into a viable candidate in a highly competitive job market. However, this journey toward self-improvement proves far more daunting than he anticipated. Despite pouring every ounce of effort into his endeavors, Asahi finds that overcoming his own insecurities is only half the battle. The harsh realities and relentless rejections of the job-hunting world continuously test his fragile resolve. Each setback chips away at his confidence, leaving him emotionally battered as he faces one discouraging obstacle after another.
