Defense Bakari no Koi ja dame!!

To her classmates, Nao is the untouchable "Cool Queen," a girl whose composed exterior commands respect and admiration throughout the school. However, this intimidating reputation is nothing more than an elaborate illusion born from a single, overwhelming trait: she is profoundly shy. Her quiet demeanor, which others interpret as effortless confidence, is actually the result of being too nervous to speak or interact normally with those around her. She has managed to maintain this delicate facade by keeping everyone at a careful distance, avoiding situations that might force her out of her carefully constructed comfort zone. Everything changes when Nao is unexpectedly thrust into a highly social environment by being appointed as the temporary manager for the school's basketball team. Suddenly surrounded by energetic athletes and the fast-paced demands of sports management, she can no longer rely on silence to hide her timid nature. The constant interactions, responsibilities, and close proximity to the team threaten to shatter her carefully maintained image at any moment. As she struggles to navigate this unfamiliar role, Nao must find a way to cope with her intense anxiety while fulfilling her new duties, leaving her to wonder how long she can keep her true self hidden from the very people she is now meant to support.
