Akira Sasanishiki is a young mathematics teacher at a prestigious high school where academic performance is the sole measure of a student's worth. Far from a conventional educator, he is a motorcycle enthusiast with a reckless personal life who routinely defies institutional rules to support students facing genuine hardship. To the rigid administration, his unorthodox methods and refusal to conform make him nothing more than a disruptive problem. Yet, it is precisely this rebellious spirit that allows him to connect with young people trapped in a system obsessed only with grades. Through his unconventional guidance, students are challenged to confront the difficult realities of growing up. The narrative explores profound themes—love, friendship, intimacy, violence, justice, morality, and the stark contrast between an idealized society and the unforgiving real world. Each student is pushed to wrestle with these complex questions as they navigate their own path toward maturity. Balancing moments of sharp comedy with deeply serious reflection, the story follows individuals forced to face the obstacles inherent in adolescence. By refusing to shelter his students from life's harder truths, Akira becomes an unlikely mentor. The result is a compelling, thought-provoking work that serves as a definitive guide for a generation searching for meaning beyond the classroom.
