Ichie is a young seamstress who has inherited her grandmother's Western dressmaking shop, carrying forward a cherished family legacy. As she carefully crafts a wedding dress for a close friend, the delicate work draws her thoughts back to the woman who first opened the boutique. Her grandmother, Yukino, originally established the shop with a singular, heartfelt purpose: to design and sew a wedding gown for her own daughter, Hiroe. Through the rhythmic act of stitching, Ichie feels deeply connected to the generations of women who came before her. Now, that enduring history is about to step into the public eye. A selection of her grandmother's exquisite dresses is scheduled to be showcased in a prominent department store exhibition, bringing Yukino's artistry to a much wider audience. Yet, as the display approaches, Ichie finds herself wrestling with quiet uncertainty.
