Buying a Classmate Once a Week

Every week, high school student Shiori Miyagi hands her classmate Hazuki Sendai five thousand yen in exchange for absolute obedience over the course of a single afternoon. What begins as an arrangement centered around mundane activities—sharing snacks and passing the time in idle conversation—frequently shifts when Miyagi’s unpredictable moods take hold. Her commands soon escalate into far more daring territory, yet Sendai complies without hesitation, no matter how degrading the request, even if it involves licking Miyagi’s feet. Six months have passed since this clandestine routine began, but despite the intense intimacy of their weekly sessions, neither girl has ever acknowledged the other as a friend. Bound by money and unspoken rules rather than genuine affection, they exist in a strange liminal space that defies easy definition. As their final year of high school rapidly approaches, the fragile foundation of their secret arrangement faces mounting pressure. With graduation looming on the horizon, both are forced to confront an unsettling question: what exactly are they to one another, and will their peculiar bond inevitably shatter once their school days come to an end?
