Summary

Official Details
In the dystopian world of Ikigami: The Ultimate Limit, the government has introduced a radical new measure to address the growing apathy and laziness of its citizens. Every day, a random citizen is selected to be killed within 24 hours of notification, with the aim of reminding people of the value of life and the importance of being a productive, active member of society. This stark reminder is intended to motivate individuals to reevaluate their priorities and contribute more meaningfully to the community. However, for one unlucky citizen, the clock starts ticking the moment they receive their notification, and they must come to terms with their impending demise.
