Kimi no Sei de Kyou Mo Shinenai.

I am neither an outcast nor the life of the party, drifting comfortably in the middle of my school’s social hierarchy. My unremarkable daily routine shatters the moment I step onto the rooftop and encounter Mitsumine Iroha—a girl universally revered as the flawless, god-blessed beauty of our school—poised to jump. When she coldly tells me to leave her alone because she wants to die, I make the choice to intervene. That single act of defiance against her despair binds us together, transforming my ordinary life into something entirely unexpected. From that day forward, we begin sharing quiet moments hidden away from the rest of the world. We eat pizza in empty classrooms and set off fireworks by the school pool under the cover of night. Slowly, the impenetrable mask of perfection she wears for everyone else begins to slip, revealing a surprisingly childish and endearing girl beneath. Though she remains terrified of the judgmental stares of our peers, Mitsumine gradually opens her heart to me, admitting that my presence makes life enjoyable and that I am the reason she can no longer bring herself to die. This is the story of how I guided a deeply troubled, beautiful girl away from the edge and toward an ordinary, joyful youth.
