Meitantei Conan: 30-Gou Satsujin Jiken

Produced to commemorate the thirtieth anniversary of the anime series, this special follows a nation captivated by the release of a new ten-thousand-yen banknote adorned with an illustration of Touto Tower. Amid the widespread excitement, Conan Edogawa and the Junior Detective League embark on an educational outing to the Nagano factory of the Japan Banknote Printing Bureau, accompanied by Professor Agasa, Ran Mouri, and Sonoko Suzuki. What begins as an ordinary excursion soon intersects with a much darker reality unfolding far from their location. In Tokyo, counterfeit versions of the newly issued currency are discovered at the scene of a murder, compelling the Metropolitan Police Department to establish a dedicated investigation headquarters. As these fraudulent bills flood into circulation at an unprecedented rate, public panic escalates rapidly, threatening to destabilize the country's financial confidence. Determined to unravel the connection between the forged notes and the homicide, Conan joins forces with Heiji Hattori. Their investigation leads them to Osaka, where evidence suggests the counterfeit operation originated. Together, they must navigate a sprawling criminal enterprise before the influx of fake money plunges the nation into irreversible chaos.
