One-Room TA

When college student U-Yun crosses paths with Jin-Hyeong, a quiet and introverted teaching assistant, he is immediately drawn to him. Eager to learn more about the reserved TA, U-Yun confidently asks him out on a date. Their connection develops at an astonishing pace, and after only three days of dating, Jin-Hyeong moves into U-Yun’s apartment. However, sharing a living space quickly reveals that the seemingly shy teaching assistant harbors a dramatically different, uninhibited side behind closed doors. It turns out that Jin-Hyeong’s extensive consumption of boys' love novels and comics has profoundly shaped his expectations for romance and intimacy. His imagination has crafted a highly unconventional vision of the perfect first time with his new boyfriend, ranging from public encounters on the subway to elaborate role-playing scenarios where U-Yun pretends to be a K-pop idol. While these eccentric fantasies are far from ordinary, U-Yun finds himself surprisingly receptive to his partner's wild ideas. Despite the bizarre nature of Jin-Hyeong’s desires, U-Yun realizes he does not entirely mind exploring this unexpected side of their relationship, setting the stage for a uniquely comedic and intimate domestic life together.
