Chiikawa: Ningyo no Shima no Himitsu

Based on the popular "Siren Arc" from Nagano's Chiikawa comics, originally serialized online between March and November 2023, the story follows a seemingly ordinary day that takes an unexpected turn. While Chiikawa and Hachiware are enjoying a peaceful afternoon in their usual square, Usagi suddenly bursts onto the scene with a mysterious flyer plastered across its face. Upon closer inspection, Hachiware discovers that the document is actually an exclusive invitation to a special island getaway. The flyer brims with irresistible promises designed to lure unsuspecting visitors, boasting hundredfold rewards for completing simple tasks and offering limited-edition ramen alongside an array of sweet and spicy delicacies at virtually no cost. Unable to resist such extraordinary temptations, Chiikawa and friends eagerly decide to embark on the island retreat. They board a ship accompanied by Rakko, who remains deeply skeptical of the flyer's overly generous claims. However, the group's excitement quickly gives way to unease upon reaching their destination. Instead of the carefree paradise they were promised, something entirely unforeseen lies in wait for them on the island, threatening to transform their dream vacation into a perilous mystery.
